Tickets available for Olympic Team reunion and awards banquet

Wrestling fans can purchase tickets to attend the 1972 and 1984 U.S. Olympic Team Reunions and the USA Wrestling Awards Banquet scheduled for Friday, April 20. A reception will be held at 6 p.m. with the banquet, featuring Dan Gable, Ben Peterson, Barry Davis and Ed Banach, at 7 p.m. at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Tickets are $100 and are available by contacting the University of Iowa Ticket Office.

TICKETS NOW ON SALE FOR OLYMPIC TEAM REUNION AND ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Tickets are now available for the 1972 and 1984 Olympic Team Reunion and USA Wrestling Annual Awards Banquet. USA Wrestling is hosting the event at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Friday, April 20 to kick-off the 2012 Olympic Team Trials. This formal event will be held in the Feller Club Room in the Dale and Marilyn Howard Family Pavilion beginning with a cash-bar reception at 6 p.m. The banquet, featuring Olympic medalists Dan Gable, Ben Peterson, Ed Banach, Barry Davis and more, will follow at 7 p.m.

Tickets are available for $100 each on a first-come, first-served basis. A table of 10 can be purchased for $900. A limited number of tickets are available.

Attire for the event is coat and tie.
