The Predicament's individual and team rankings

The Predicament has released its first set of prep wrestling rankings. The individual rankings are self explanatory. Team rankings, however, are based on points that could be accrued in a tournament format. These are different from dual rankings which are released by the Iowa High School Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association.

Bettendorf owns the top spot and Iowa City West is second. Linn-Mar and Prairie give the Mississippi Valley Conference three teams in the top six.

2011 3A Preseason Individual and Team Rankings

The first official date for competition was Monday. The first set of tournaments opens Saturday, including West Delaware's Hawk Invitational which includes #2 West Delaware and #3 Davenport Assumption.

2011 2A Preseason Individual Rankings

Class 1A seems to show parity with seven of the top eight teams boasting at least five ranked wrestlers and two more with four apiece.
