More wrestlers reach 100-win plateau

More competitors have reached the 100-win career milestone recently.
Alburnett had three wrestlers reach the coveted mark.
Colton Martin and Grant Henderson both reached 100 wins at the Pirates' home tournament Saturday, Jan. 21. Martin, ranked eighth by The Predicament at 132 pounds, has 106 total wins. The fifth-ranked Henderson (145) has 103 wins as a junior. Alburnett's Sam Bowers (195) reached 100 wins Tuesday and has 101 in his career.
Williamsburg teammates Travis Gorsch and Trevor Knepper hit 100 career wins this season. Gorsch (160) pinned Ryan Webster of Vinton-Shellsburg in 3:47 on Jan. 5 for his 100th win. Gorsch had 109 wins before Thursday. Knepper (132) also notched his 100th win with a fall, pinning West Branch's Tyler Oswald on Dec. 3 at a tournament in Jesup. He has 132 wins overall.
Lisbon's Seth Hall surpassed 100 career wins Saturday, Jan. 21 at Iowa City High's Clyde Bean Duals. The 138-pound Hall recorded his 99th through 102nd win at the dual competition.
