Iowa-Penn State dual to be televised live on BTN

The University of Iowa wrestling dual against Penn State originally scheduled for Super Bowl Sunday has been changed, placing the battle of NCAA Division I wrestling powers live on BTN.

HAWKEYES TO HOST PENN STATE LIVE ON BTN

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The University of Iowa wrestling team will host Penn State on Friday, Feb. 1, at 8 p.m. (CT) on Mediacom Mat at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The dual was originally scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 3, but was rescheduled to accommodate a BTN request to televise the dual.

Iowa and Penn State have combined to win the last five NCAA and Big Ten titles. The teams return a combined 11 All-Americans and have 13 wrestlers rated in the top eight of WIN Magazine's preseason rankings.
