Hawkeye wrestlers on BTN three times

The BTN announced its broadcast schedule for wrestling and the University of Iowa Hawkeyes, coached by Tom Brands, his have a conference-high three duals televised during the 2011-12 season.

The Big Ten runner-up, who placed third at the 2011 NCAA Championships in March, will have its Jan. 13 conference dual at Nebraska and the dual at State College, Pa., against Penn State on Jan. 22. The Hawkeyes home dual against Minnesota on Jan. 29 will also be aired. All three will run at 9 p.m. (Iowa time).

Wrestling fans can watch the 2012 Big Ten Championships, hosted by Purdue in West Lafayette, Ind., March 3-4, live on BTN.

The Hawkeyes start the season Nov. 19 at the Lindenwood Open and host Baker University, Cornell College and Iowa Central for the Iowa City Duals on Friday, Nov. 25.
