State wrestling begins Wednesday with Class 3A; Class 1A and 2A start Thursday.

The Iowa High School Athletic Association state wrestling tournament is Wednesday through Saturday at Casey’s Center in Des Moines. Action starts with Class 3A Wednesday afternoon and 1A and 2A will begin Thursday.
TRADITIONAL STATE TOURNAMENT
When: Wednesday–Saturday, Feb. 21
Where: Casey’s Center in Des Moines
Competition: Wednesday
4 p.m. – Class 3A first and second rounds and first- and second-round consolations
Thursday
9 a.m. – Class 1A first and second rounds and first- and second-round consolations
2:30 p.m. – Class 2A first and second rounds and first- and second-round consolations, followed by Class 3A quarterfinals and third- and fourth-round consolations
Friday
9 a.m. – Class 1A quarterfinals and third- and fourth-round consolations, followed by Class 2A quarterfinals and third- and fourth-round consolations
5 p.m. – Class 1A, 2A and 3A semifinals and fifth-round consolations
Saturday
9 a.m. – Consolation semifinals and placing matches for all classes
5:15 p.m. – Awards ceremony
5:30 p.m. – Grand March and championship matches for all classes
TV/Online: Semifinals will be livestreamed at IHSAA.org and televised by IHSAA tournament partners, including KCRG 9.2 and MC22. Finals will be televised by Iowa PBS. All matches available at www.flowrestling.com with subscription.
