Woodward - Roush

Ann and Dick Woodward of Cedar Rapids, and Cynthia and James Roush of Seattle,

announce the wedding of their daughter Margaret and son Will. The wedding took place June 20 near the beach where they met five years ago, on Vancouver Island near Victoria, British Columbia.

Since graduating from Macalester College, Margaret has held leadership positions in

outdoor education in Minnesota, Washington and Colorado. She holds a master's in

elementary education from Western State Colorado University, and currently teaches third grade at Aspen Elementary School.

Will grew up in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado. He holds a master's from the University of British Columbia in Geography and Environmental Studies. He currently works as the

Conservation Director for the Wilderness Workshop in Carbondale, CO.

The two met on Sandcut Beach while camping and building a sauna with friends. They knew it was meant to be from the first dip in the ocean! Both enjoy adventures in wilderness, whether rock climbing, backcountry skiing, trail running or picnicking. They live in Aspen, CO with their dog, Maddie, and are expecting their first child next year.
