VanWaus - Simmons

RUNAWAY BAY, JAMAICA - Bobbi VanWaus of Cedar Rapids and Joshua Simmons of Marengo, IA were married February 27 2009, in a beach ceremony at Breezes Resort in Runaway Bay, Jamaica. Following the ceremony, celebration took place at the Marengo Golf Course on May 9, 2009.

Parents of the couple are Bill and Crystal VanWaus of Victor, IA; and Bill and Pam Simmons of Marengo.

Matron of honor was Angie Smith, sister of bride. Maid of honor was Jalissa Simmons, friend and sister of groom. Bestman was Ben VanWaus, friend and brother of bride, Groomsman was Jamie Smith, friend and brother-in-law of couple.

Bobbi is a 1998 graduate of HLV High School in Victor and 2001 graduate of Capri College. She is a cosmetologist and owner of New Millennium Salon and Spa in Cedar Rapids.

Joshua is a1998 graduate of Iowa Valley High School in Marengo. He is the owner of Simmons Backhoe and Construction Company and a parttime rural route mail carrier in Marengo.

The couple reside in rural Marengo.
