Jim's parents are Deb & Jim Skelton of Walford, IA. Melanie's parents are Barb & the late Donald Lukavsky of Washington, IA.

Jim is a paramedic specialist with Madison County Ambulance and Melanie is an associate financial advisor at Jesse, Keeling & Associates. The couple resides in Altoona, IA.
