Franklin and Sandra Sauer, Independence, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Angeline Elizabeth to Adam Alan Douglas, son of Gary and Pat Douglas, DeWitt. The wedding and reception were held June 28, 2014 at the National Czech and

Slovak Museum and Library in Cedar Rapids. Christi Joyce served as her sister's matron of honor. Charlene Sauer, sister-in-law of the bride, was the bridesmaid. Mattison Carragh, friend of the groom, was the best man.

Angie's nieces, Paetra Sauer and Ellie Joyce, were flower girls, and her nephews, Fulton Sauer and Henry Joyce, were ring bearers. Honored guests included their grandmothers, L. DeVee Sauer, Marion, and Julia Douglas, Eldridge.

Angie and Adam are teaching at Colegio Nueva Granada in Bogota, Columbia.

The summer of 2014 was also a time of

important family anniversaries. Christi and Tristan Joyce, Guildford, UK, celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary on August 1st.

Brother of the bride, Frederick (Fritz) and

Charlene Sauer, Shell Rock, celebrated their 10th anniversary on July 3rd, and Frank and Sandy celebrated 40 years on August 24th.
