Shelagh M. Rivera of
Cedar Rapids and John E. McDonald, II of Marion were married at the
historic Hancock House in Dubuque, IA on May 16, 2015 among a circle of family and friends. Shelagh's daughters, Tara Minetos of Cedar Rapids and Maura Eaton of Virginia Beach, VA, along with John's
daughter, Cristy Harwood and family, joined in the celebration. Shelagh is a retired Navy nurse and works for the VA. John
retired from Evergreen Packaging in 2013. He is forever solving
mechanical problems and riding his Harley, now with Shelagh. They reside in Robins and
celebrate their love and abundant blessings. Shelagh and John prove that love and hope spring eternal at any age.
