Ariel Pleva and Ryan Bednarz were united in marriage on July 23, 2011 at St. Ambrose Catholic Cathedral in Des Moines, IA. Officiating was The Very Rev. Fr. Patrick Hilgendorf V.F., cousin of the groom.
Ariel is the daughter of Mark and Sue Pleva of Woodward, IA. Ryan is the son of William and Linda Bednarz of Iowa City, IA.
The Couple spent their honeymoon in New York City.
Ariel has a master's degree in Public Health from Des Moines University and is now in her 3rd year of veterinary medicine at Iowa State University. Ryan has an Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance and HVAC Technology from Kirkwood Community College. Ryan is Field Supervisor of Kelly Heating.
