Amy Murphy and Barry Wilken of Nashville, TN were united in marriage on July 2, 2011 in Harrisburg, IL. Amy is the daughter of Dennis and Lynn Murphy of Harrisburg. Barry is the son of Grant and Patty Wilken of Marion, IA.
Amy earned a BA in Secondary Education in 2005 from Southeast Missouri State University and her Masters in Administration and Supervision in 2008 from Lipscomp University. She teaches 8th grade U.S. History at Bellevue Middle School in Nashville.
Barry earned his BS with a major in Actuarial Science from the University of Iowa in 2000. He is a Senior Actuarial Analyst, Willis Casualty Actuarial Practice, Willis Group in Nashville.
They honeymooned on a Mediterranean cruise.
