Stacey Jo Melchert and Joseph Nicholas Strief were united in marriage on July 17, 2010, at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Hopkinton, IA. A reception followed at Farley Memorial Hall. Stacey is daughter of Charles and Rebecca Melchert of Hopkinton. Joseph is the son of Patrick and Donna Strief of Farley, IA.
Stacey is a graduate of the University of Iowa and is currently employed as a Social Studies educator in the Iowa City. Joseph is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and is currently employed as an IT Business Analyst for John Deere in Moline, IL.
Following their honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple returned their residence in Iowa City.
