April Mahrer and Jim Merritt were married on April 30, 2011, in San Diego, CA, aboard the Steam Ferry Berkeley.
April's parents are Al and Nancy Mahrer of Camdenton, MO, (formerly of Cedar Rapids) and Jim's parents are Bob and Sue Merritt of Jamul, CA.
Amber Mahrer Pirillo of McKinney, TX and Kimberly Dembinski of San Diego, CA were attendants to the bride and groom. Justin Mahrer of Dallas, TX was Master of Ceremonies. Readings were by Nancy Mahrer and Sue Merritt.
The couple took a two week honeymoon road trip and currently reside in Santee, CA.
