Sarah Maria Knuth and Joaquin Baez Juarez were united in marriage on July 9, 2011 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Anamosa, IA. Reverend Gary Krapfl officiated. A reception followed at The Longbranch Hotel and Convention Center in Cedar Rapids.
Sarah is the daughter of Adrian and Lori Knuth of Anamosa. Joaquin is the son of Joaquin Baez and Virginia Juarez of Mexico City. The couple's attendants were Emily and Tim Stork, sister and brother-in-law of the bride, and Edgar Baez and Araceli Arlanzon, brother and sister-in-law of the groom.
The groom's parents are hosting a reception for the couple in Mexico City in November .The newlyweds reside in Carrollton, TX.
