Rebecca Karas, daughter of Ernie and Lori Karas, and Christopher Cooling, son of
Kevin and Sue Cooling, were married May 24, 2014. Their wedding took place at
St. Pius Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids, followed by a reception and dance at the Parish Center. The couple are 2007
graduates of Xavier High School and the University of Iowa. The couple lives in the Des Moines area, where Chris is a credit analyst at Agricredit and Becca is a counselor at Dowling Catholic High School.
