Introducing the new Mr. & Mrs. Ryan Rydstrom

Madison Atwood and Ryan Rydstrom said "I do" on Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Hotel Riu Palace, Riviera Maya, Mexico. A

local reception was held on June 27th at the Shores Event Center.

Madison is an induction coach with the Grant Wood AEA in Cedar Rapids. She received her bachelors in mathematics education from the University of Iowa and is pursuing her masters in Educational Leadership from UNI. She is the daughter of Tim and Claire Atwood of Marion, IA. Ryan is an assistant principal at Prairie Point Middle School. Ryan received his bachelors in science education from the University of Iowa, and then his masters from UNI in Educational Leadership. He is the son of Carman Rydstrom of Clear Lake, IA.The couple met while teaching together at Prairie Point. They have a home in Cedar Rapids, where they enjoy entertaining friends and spending time with their two dogs, Big Mike

(a weimaraner) and Penny

(a miniature dachshund).
