Jennifer Sue Hughes and Matthew Louis Lahr were united in marriage on May 30, 2009, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Petersburg, IA. Her parents are Deb Hughes and Al Hughes of Monticello. His parents are Harry and Lois Lahr of Earlville.
Jennifer is a graduate of Monticello High School and Upper Iowa University. She is employed at Health Enterprises. Matthew is a graduate of Maquoketa Valley High School. He is employed at Engineered Thermal Insulation and runs Harry Lahr Auctions with his dad.
