Heil - Takes

CEDAR RAPIDS­ - Whitney Renee Heil and Zachary Thomas Takes, both of Cedar Rapids, were united in marriage on June 20, 2009. Father David OConnor presided over the ceremony held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids.

A rehearsal dinner hosted by the grooms parents was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall #5677 in Cedar Rapids on June 19, 2009. The wedding reception was also held there.

Maid of Honor was Carrie Clark. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Byer, Jasmine Hazen, Rebecca Gilchrist, and Nicole Proesch.

Best Man was Jeremy Fox. Groomsmen were Dylan Koger, Michael Harmeyer, Andy Warden, and Jimmy Negro.

Ushers were Keith Proesch, Eric Gilchrist, and Jake Takes. Flower girl was Sophia Proesch. Ring bearer was Ty Tallman.

Whitney is the daughter of Tom Heil and Mandy Koger, both of Marshalltown, IA. Zachary is the son of Tom and Mary Takes of Cedar Rapids.

Whitney is a graduate of Marshalltown Community College. She is employed by Aegon in Cedar Rapids.

Zachary is also a graduate of Marshalltown Community College. He is employed by KFXAKGAN TV in Cedar Rapids.

The couple will spend their honeymoon in Florida later this year.
