November 1, 2014, at Ital Rest in Treasure Beach, Jamaica. Alison is the daughter of Don and Donna Happel of Mount Vernon, and Franz is the son of
Courtney and Cynthia Parkins, originally from Mandeville, Jamaica. Franz and Alison met in Atlanta, GA, and they now reside in Memphis, TN. Alison is currently an Assistant Professor of Qualitative Research Methodology in the Counseling, Educational Psychology and
Research department, and Franz is a graduate student in the Computer Engineering department, at the University of
Memphis.
