Eastern Iowa dealt with messy snow Friday morning.
The majority of the snow fell overnight, but scattered flurries are expected throughout the morning.
Several area school districts, including Cedar Rapids, delayed classes this morning due to the weather conditions.
The Iowa Department of Transportation said it has responded to several cars in the ditch. No severe accidents have been reported.
Drivers are encouraged to take it slow during the morning commute.
A roller coaster of active weather and changing temperatures will continue next week, with two systems set to move in.
