Orchestra Iowa postpones, cancels weekend events

Dear friends of the Orchestra, As you have likely already heard, the Cedar River is expected to crest at 25 feet, 9 feet above flood stage, early next week in Cedar Rapids. This will impact much of downtown Cedar Rapids, including the Orchestra Iowa offices, Opus Concert Café and Paramount Theatre. 1)2) The Orchestra Iowa Ticket Office will be staffed on Saturday, 10am-1pm. Outside of these hours, 3) Other necessary information and updates will be disseminated via the Orchestra Iowa website, emails, social media, and press releases.
1) The chamber concerts currently scheduled for Friday and Saturday in Opus and Sunday afternoon in Coralville all been postponed with the hope of rescheduling for a different date in the future.
2) The Orchestra Iowa Ticket Office will be staffed on Saturday, 10am-1pm. Outside of these hours, email will be the most reliable form of communication – please contact us at info@orchestraiowa.org
3) All Orchestra Iowa School onsite activities are canceled starting Sunday through Tuesday (including chorus rehearsals, individual instruction, etc.)
