Linn County Juvenile Justice Center to reopen; Courthouse and Jail remain closed and relocated until further notice

Media Release The Linn County Juvenile Justice Center will reopen to the public for normal business on Thursday, Sept. 29 at 8 a.m. The Juvenile Justice Center remained dry during the recent Cedar River flooding. The Linn County Courthouse on May's Island remains closed until further notice. The Jean Oxley Linn County Public Service Center also remains closed with offices temporarily relocated to the Linn County Community Services Building, 1240 26th Ave. Court SW, Cedar Rapids. More information about the reopening of the Public Service Center will be provided as it becomes available.
