Few weather-related accidents in Cedar Rapids so far, officials say
There have been just a handful of accidents so far this morning in Cedar Rapids due to the season's first snowfall, according to Police Lt. Cody Estling.
An exact count wasn't avaialble, Estling said, because some accidents had multiple reports and police were sorting out how many of the reports were unique.
“Mostly it has just been cars sliding off the road and into ditches,” Estling said.
No injuries were reported, and there were no known traffic delays as of 6:55 a.m.
