Dubuque offering special shuttle service and free sandbags

The Jule is operating a special shuttle from Comiskey Park to the Information/Assistance centers at Prescott Neighborhood Resource Center and Five Flags Civic Center for residents displaced by flood damage and needing transportation to the centers.
The shuttle will stop at all three locations: on 24th Street by the entrance to the Comiskey Park parking lot, in the school bus turn-around at Prescott at 1151 White Street, and at the Locust Street entrance at Five Flags. The shuttles will run throughout the day today.
The City is offering sandbags at no charge to property owners. Sandbags can be picked up at the Municipal Services Center at 925 Kerper Court.
