Iowa high school track and field 2023 state-qualifying assignments

The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union and the Iowa High School Athletic Association released assignments for track and field state-qualifying meets Monday.

Meets are Thursday, May 11; the state meet is May 18-20 at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.

The assignments:

Class 4A

(Top 2 times/distances in each event automatically qualify from each site, plus 12 at-large qualifiers statewide)

At Dubuque

Cedar Falls, Clinton, Dubuque Hempstead, Dubuque Senior, Iowa City Liberty, Iowa City West, Waterloo East, Waterloo West.

At Eldridge

Bettendorf, Burlington, Davenport Central, Davenport North, Davenport West, Iowa City High, North Scott, Pleasant Valley.

At Linn-Mar

Ames, Cedar Rapids Jefferson, Cedar Rapids Kennedy, Cedar Rapids Prairie, Cedar Rapids Washington, Linn-Mar, Mason City, Muscatine.

Class 3A
