CEDAR RAPIDS — For a brief time, the boys’ shuttle hurdle relay team from Cedar Rapids Kennedy held the all-time Iowa best.
The foursome of Jackson Goslin, Ryan Bartels, Dallas Keller and Brayden Peck ran 56.75 seconds during the MVC Mississippi Division boys’ track and field meet Thursday at Saints Field.
Bartels is a senior; the other three are juniors.
However, Waukee Northwest and Ankeny went even faster Thursday, at the Central Iowa Metro League meet. The Wolves ran 56.44, the Hawks 56.47.
Northwest had run 56.82 seconds at the Drake Relays.
