Sponsors needed for Cedar Rapids Halloween Parade

The Terry Durin Company is seeking sponsors for the 7th annual Cedar Rapids Halloween Parade.

Proceeds from sponsorships will benefit Mission of Hope Cedar Rapids, a nonprofit that offers clothing, food and recovery services to those in need, in addition to Green Square Meals, the only evening meal program in Cedar Rapids. Green Square Meals serves 30,000 meals a year to those in need.

This year’s parade will run from 6:30-7:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, in the NewBo District. Last year, there were 18,000 attendees compared to 2023, with 5,000 attendees and 80 floats.

There will also be a Creepy Kid Zone from 4-6 p.m. and Family Costume Contest from 5:30-5:45 p.m. at NewBo City Market.
