"Track Guy Movie,“ which will screen Sunday at the Englert Theatre, is a breezy, 65-minute film that captures the essence of the warm and inspiring husband, dad and legendary track and field announcer Mike Jay.

Spanning over several acres, this year’s design features Bloomsbury Farm and their 30th anniversary logo, carefully cut into the towering cornfields that draw thousands of visitors each fall. The maze opens Sept. 12.

For a quarter century, a band of 5,000-year-old, bandage-wrapped undead have prowled America, with their “terrifying funk from beyond the grave.” Hear from Mummy Cass on the band’s origin, inspiration and the undead.

The event will highlight the achievements of honorees Dr. Michael Blackwell of Cedar Falls, Renee Dunn of Dubuque, Ricki King of Windsor Heights and Nolden Gentry of Des Moines.

The tour runs through Sept. 30 and features 45 bookstores across the state.
