Hiawatha residents and leaders will honor the Linn County town’s history and look toward its future this month with a June 14 community celebration to mark the city’s 75th anniversary.
Concerts on six Thursdays are part of the effort to support non-profits and help draw people into the downtown. The first show in the new series, at Greene Square, is June 12.
The Saturday market hosts roughly 200 vendors who sell everything from fresh produce and flowers to crafts, baked goods and more.
