CORALVILLE — Footliters Imagination Studio presents “Junie B. Jones: The Musical” at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts Oct. 10–12 in a series of performances for young audiences.
It's Junie B.'s first day of first grade. Between new friends and new glasses, a lot of things are changing. Featuring lovable characters and bursting with fun-filled songs, this hilarious musical combines four of Barbara Park’s best-selling books into an unforgettable stage show for all ages.
Performance dates and times are:
- 7 p.m. Friday, Oct.10
- 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 (sensory-friendly performance)
- 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11
- 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12
Tickets to “Junie B. Jones: The Musical“ include a free pre-show craft, a meet and greet with the actors after the show, and a take-homed activity packet for kids and their guardian(s).

Tickets are $10–$15 (before fees and sales tax), and are available online at CoralvilleArts.org or by calling (319) 248-9370.
CCPA Box Office hours are phone-only, Wednesday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m., and in person one hour before show time at the CCPA Box Office at 1301 5th St., Coralville.
A Junie B. Jones-themed scavenger hunt will be held at the Coralville Public Library between performances on Saturday, Oct. 11. Stop at the Children’s Desk between 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to get a game card. Find the items, crack the code and earn a prize.
