Theatre Cedar Rapids announces 2024-25 season
‘Disney’s Beauty and the Beast’ brings family flair to holiday fare
CEDAR RAPIDS — “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast” is back for the holidays, with another go-round for “Hairspray” and “Amadeus” during Theatre Cedar Rapids’ 2024-25 season.
All shows in the lineup are musicals in the theater’s auditorium, except for the play, “Amadeus,” coming to its Grandon Studio.
The season begins with “Beauty and the Beast” from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15, and continues in 2025 with “Jersey Boys,” Feb. 7 to March 2; “Fun Home,” a concert-style musical, March 27 to April 6; “Hairspray,” April 25 to May 18, 2025; “Amadeus,” May 29 to June 22, 2025; and “Memphis,” June 27 to July 27.
