Our hearts are full of appreciation and gratitude to our family, relatives, and many friends and neighbors, for

attending Sue's wake service and funeral mass, and for the many cards, thoughts and prayers, many acts of kindness and sympathy, along with the overabundance of food and monetary donations, during Sue's long and courageous battle with (ATL) Cancer.

A special thanks to some very special people also, who with unsolicited requests for support, and work behind the scenes, helped our family through tough times:

Julie Corporstein (cousin) and Heidi Brown (awesome friend). Thanks also to the many nurses at University Hospitals Holden Comprehensive Cancer and Infusion Center, 4JPW & 4JPE, and 7th Floor Oncology, along with Karen Roode (RN) Center Center, Father Dustin Vu and Father Ivan Nienhaus, who have made this difficult time more manageable.

Huge appreciation and respect for the following people at the University of Iowa Hospitals – Holden Cancer Center: Dr. Omar Farooq (Oncologist) and Patty Schwickerath (ARNP), who could not have been more attentive, compassionate and caring.

Memorial donations will be given to St. Patrick Catholic Church and University of Iowa Foundation – Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center for the research of Lymphona Cancer for Dr. Farooq.
