Thank You from the Sterner Family

Sometimes the words "thank you" can seem so small, and this is one of those times. They can never be big enough to express our gratitude and appreciation for your prayers and support since Decemder 23, 2015, when Darel suffered his stroke, until his passing on November 3, 2016. Our family has reaped the benefits of his

friendship with each of you. To each of you, we thank you.

We thank Dr. John Kelley and his nurse, Sandy, Pastor Mario Padilla, Pastors Don and Mary Timmermann, Pastor Betsey Sue Neipert, and

Hospice for their nurturing and pastoral care; Scott and Jackie Henderson for all your support and care; and, to all who he had coffee with,

visited, called or simply drove by and waved/ honked at him. He had a blast sitting in his

garage. He didn't always know who he was

waving at, but he enjoyed the attention.

Thank you for your memorial gifts.

Even though he was "ornery," he had made his peace with God. Thank you for remembering our family in your special way and for attending his

visitation and Celebration of Life. There is a deep void in our family, but one day we plan on seeing him on the other side.
