Special commemoration to my Pop! Finally got his bike, 1937 Harley Davidson ULH (80 cu in) restored!!! Strictly Old School!
Pop, Allen M. Varney Jr., left, 75 years ago; and me, Allen M. Varney III, right, a bit chubbier and older; and YES, that's the same cap!
I learned on that bike in '67 at 15 years old.
A big shout-out to Bob Polson for his work restoring the bike, to my stepdaughter Kelly for taking the pictures, and to my wife Kathy for her patience while I obsessed with the old machine!
