There are times when the words "thank you" seem insufficient to express the

gratitude felt toward so many who have helped support and comfort us as we

travel down this path of loss and grief. To the staff of Mercy Hospital ICC, Above and Beyond Hospice and Doctors Cowden, Lee and Wilbur, your care helped Gary's

transition from this life to the next much easier. Katie Kavanaugh will forever hold a special place in our hearts for the

kindness, care and guidance she provided, but most especially for the smile she

always brought to Gary's face and to ours as well. Pastor Bob Wessels comforted us and helped commemorate Gary's life in a way that truly honored how special he was. We appreciate the care provided by the staff of Goettsch Funeral Home. Finally, it's impossible to name all the friends and extended family who stepped forward in our time of need; it is moments like these that we realize how blessed we truly are.
