FOREVER GRATEFUL for the

10 YEARS of life you have given me!

When an artery in your heart is dissected during a medical procedure, then you hear the doctor say to the nurse "She has four minutes get an ambulance and a surgeon on standby," you panic and pray there are incredibly talented people like Dr. James Levett and the UnityPoint Surgical Team in your corner. What they did on June 1, 2012, is

nothing short of a miracle by all accounts from all of those at Mercy and UnityPoint Hospitals who witnessed or had a part in what it took to keep me alive that night.

I am forever indebted to Dr. Levett because he was willing to take on an emergency case that seemed hopeless. Because

of you, Dr. Levett, I have been able to spend 10 years with my family. I've been able to be part of my kids' lives and watch them grow into amazing adults, get married and have children. Without you this would not have been possible and I would not be a grandma right now so THANK YOU...THANK YOU...THANK YOU!!

To all those who did CPR and whatever else it took that night to keep me alive in that dire situation, a HUGE THANK YOU from me and my family!
