Vacation Hold/Stop Options
- To schedule a vacation hold call Customer Care at (800) 397-8333 or online at thegazette.com/manage
- Vacation Pac – We will hold your papers for up to 30 days and deliver them upon your return.
- Vacation Donation – Donate your vacation papers to local area schools.
- Vacation Stop – Delivery will stop while on vacation.
- Vacation stops or pauses can be placed online or you can call 319-398-8333

Cancellation Policy
If at any time you decide to cancel your subscription, please contact Customer Care at (800) 397-8333 or visit myaccount.thegazette.com. If the balance on your print subscription account exceeds $10.00 it will be refunded to the original payment method. Digital-only subscriptions will stop on expiration. The Gazette can increase the price of your subscription at any time. Your renewal notice will be your notification of a rate change.

How to purchase a subscription to The Gazette
There are multiple ways to subscribe to The Gazette.
The Gazette, based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa offers print subscriptions in deliverable areas of Eastern Iowa as well as digital subscriptions. To see if delivery is offered in your area, simply enter your zip code on our offer page or call our Customer Care team at 319-398-8333. We also offer mail subscription service everywhere.

Print Subscription Terms with Complete Digital Access:
- Payment: When your selected payment method is charged, it will appear as “The Gazette Home Delivery.”
- EBilling: If you do not wish to use Auto-renewal, you will be automatically enrolled in e-billing and receive billing notices by email.
- USPS Mail Delivery: If you receive your print edition via the US Postal Service, your print edition will be delivered with your mail service. However, when there is no postal delivery, such as federally recognized holidays, your newspaper will be delivered the next day there is postal delivery available.
- Account Access: Your account includes up to 2 logins to your subscription.
- Access to the Green Gazette the daily digital edition. You can access The Green Gazette directly at mygreengazette.com.
- Website: you have unlimited full access every day to thegazette.com.
- Breaking news alerts and updates on our tablet and smartphone apps. You can personalize your alert preferences, swipe, and scroll through stories faster. To unlock unlimited access, sign into your account in the app. To access our apps, visit thegazette.com/mobile-apps
- Newsletters tailored to specific topics our readers want more of. Newsletters can be sent right to your inbox. Sign up for one (or all of them) today at thegazette.com/newsletters.
- Cancellation: To cancel anytime up to one week before the end of your term, log in at myaccount.thegazette.com, or call 319-398-8333 or email customercare@thegazette.com. Any balance over $10 will be refunded.

- Account Access: Your account includes up to 2 logins to your subscription.
- Access to the Green Gazette the daily digital edition. You can access The Green Gazette directly at mygreengazette.com.
- Website: you have unlimited full access every day to thegazette.com.
- Breaking news alerts and updates on our tablet and smartphone apps. You can personalize your alert preferences, swipe, and scroll through stories faster. To unlock unlimited access, sign into your account in the app.
- Newsletters tailored to specific topics our readers want more of. Newsletters can be sent right to your inbox. Sign up for one (or all of them) today at thegazette.com/newsletters.
- Auto-renewal: With Auto-renewal, you authorize us to automatically charge the credit card you indicate every month 0 to 30 days prior to the expiration of your then current subscription term, for the duration of your subscription or until you notify us otherwise. Any outstanding balance will be processed with the first Auto-renewal charge.
- EBilling: If you do not wish to use Auto-renewal, you will be automatically enrolled in e-billing and receive billing notices by email.
- Cancellation: If at any time you decide to cancel your subscription, which you can do at any time, you may contact customer service or visit myaccount.thegazette.com and login to cancel. Payments are non-refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for the unused portion of a subscription that has been cancelled before the end of a billing cycle. We reserve the right, however, to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion. If we issue a refund or credit in one instance, we are under no obligation to issue the same refund or credit in the future.
Sports Only Subscriptions:
- Payment: When your selected payment method is charged, it will appear as “The Gazette Home Delivery.”
- Account Access: Your account includes 1 login to your subscription.
- Website: you have unlimited Sports article access every day to thegazette.com.
- Newsletters tailored to specific topics our readers want more of. Newsletters can be sent right to your inbox. Sign up for one (or all of them) today at thegazette.com/newsletters.
- Auto-renewal: With Auto-renewal, you authorize us to automatically charge the credit card you indicate every month 0 to 30 days prior to the expiration of your then current subscription term, for the duration of your subscription or until you notify us otherwise.
