Purdue RB Jack Wegher transferring to UNI
CEDAR FALLS — Former Purdue running back Jack Wegher is transferring to Northern Iowa.
Originally from North Sioux City, S.D., Wegher attended the IMG Academy in Florida. He is the brother of former Hawkeye Brandon Wegher.
Wegher had four carries for minus-five yards, two receptions for 37 yards and one kickoff return for 19 yards in 2016, and missed the 2017 season with injury.
He has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
