The road to the U.S. Cellular Center is set for all five Iowa high school volleyball classes.
The IGHSAU released regional brackets Tuesday. The postseason begins Tuesday, Oct. 16 in 1A and 2A and Wednesday, Oct. 17 in 3A, 4A and 5A. Regional finals are Tuesday, Oct. 30 for the bigger three classes and Monday, Oct. 29 for the smaller two. Winners advance to the state tournament in Cedar Rapids from Nov. 6-9.

Defending state champions are Cedar Falls (5A), Dubuque Wahlert (4A), Waterloo Columbus (3A), Dike-New Hartford (2A) and Janesville (1A). CF and Janesville are also ranked No. 1 in the latest IGHSAU rankings.
Cedar Falls’ postseason begins against Fort Dodge in 5A Region 6. Waterloo West is on the other side of the bracket.
Wahlert, ranked No. 5, takes on Western Dubuque or Maquoketa in 4A Region 6, which also features No. 10 Clinton. Top-ranked Sergeant Bluff-Luton is in Region 1, along with No. 11 Sioux City Heelan. The Warriors start with the winner of Denison-Schleswig and Storm Lake.
Columbus travels to Union Community for its opener in 3A Region 4, where No. 3 Center Point-Urbana is the favorite.
Seventh-ranked DNH gets rival Aplington-Parkersburg or West Fork first in 2A Region 6. No. 14 Hudson is its top challenger. Region 7 is where No. 1 Grundy Center resides, as does No. 13 Wilton. The Spartans open against Jesup or North Linn.
Janesville is in 1A Region 4 and will meet Clarksville or Ackley AGWSR in the quarterfinals.
Class 5A: No. 4 Cedar Rapids Jefferson hosts Cedar Rapids Prairie in the Region 8 semifinals, with No. 14 Iowa City High on the other side. Fifth-ranked Linn-Mar is in Region 7 and gets Davenport Central first, then potentially No. 10 Pleasant Valley.
Class 4A: No. 2 Cedar Rapids Xavier will host Washington (Iowa) or Keokuk in Region 8. Fort Madison has the bye on the other side. Independence, ranked third, takes on Grinnell or Waterloo East at home. No. 12 Iowa City Liberty is in the same region and squares off with the Marion-DeWitt Central winner.
Class 3A: No. 2 Tipton is the only ranked team in Region 6. The Tigers host Mid-Prairie in the quarterfinals. Third-ranked Center Point-Urbana is the favorite in Region 4. No. 13 Iowa Falls-Alden is a possible regional final opponent.
Class 2A: Second-ranked Dyersville Beckman, which lost for the first time this season Saturday, is in Region 8 and begins with Maquoketa Valley or Clayton Ridge. No. 10 Durant is the top team on the other side of the bracket.

Class 1A: Region 3 features sixth-ranked North Tama, which will face Baxter or Meskwaki first. That region stretches west, with Audubon the host on the other side. No. 7 Montezuma is in Region 7, as is No. 10 New London. The Bravettes host the North Mahaska-BGM winner in the quarterfinals.
