Returning Iowa Press Sports Writers Association all-state girls' basketball players for the 2018-19 season:

Caitlynn Daniels, 5-7, jr., Cedar Rapids Xavier — Averaged 11.6 points, 4.7 assists and 2.7 steals per game last season. Shot 42.5 percent from 3-point range, 73.9 percent from the free-throw line. 4A 2nd-team all-state.

Grace Flanagan, 5-8, jr., North Linn — Averaged 13.3 points, 4.8 assists and 2.9 steals per game last season. Shot 40.3 percent from 3-point range, 90.5 percent from the free-throw line. 2A 3rd-team all-state.

Aubrey Joens, 5-9, jr., Iowa City High — Averaged 12.9 points, 3.0 assists and 3.2 steals per game last season. Shot 73.5 percent from the free-throw line. 5A 3rd-team all-state.

Adrianna Katcher, 5-11, jr., Center Point-Urbana — Averaged 10.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per game last season. Shot 44.3 percent from the field, 72.2 percent from the free-throw line. 4A 3rd-team all-state.

Kayba Laube, 5-9, jr., Marion — Averaged 13.5 points per game last season. Shot 50.4 percent from the field, 41.2 percent from 3-point range and 81.6 percent from the free-throw line. 4A 1st-team all-state.

Sid McCrea, 5-10, jr., Cedar Rapids Prairie — Averaged 12.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game last season. 5A 3rd-team all-state.

Nicole McDermott, 5-5, jr., Cascade — Averaged 14.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 2.8 steals per game last season. Shot 51.9 percent from the field, 77.7 percent from the free-throw line. 2A 1st-team all-state.

Cailyn Morgan, 5-9, sr., Iowa City West — Averaged 9.8 points per game last season. Shot 71.4 percent from the free-throw line. 5A 3rd-team all-state.

Jessica Musgrave, 5-9, sr., South Tama — Averaged 21.8 points, 3.4 assists and 5.5 steals per game last season. Shot 52.6 percent from the field. 3A 1st-team all-state.

Rose Nkumu, 5-8, jr., Iowa City High — Averaged 13.2 points, 3.1 assists and 3.2 steals per game last season. Shot 55.2 percent from the field. 5A 2nd-team all-state.

Karsyn Stratton, 5-8, jr., Clear Creek Amana — Averaged 21.9 points and 7.5 rebounds per game last season. Shot 52.9 percent from the field. 4A 3rd-team all-state.

Sam Wall, 5-8, sr., Maquoketa Valley — Averaged 20.6 points, 4.1 assists and 2.5 steals per game last season. Shot 46.8 percent from the field, 37.6 percent from 3-point range and 84.5 percent from the free-throw line. 2A 1st-team all-state.

Shateah Wetering, 6-1, jr., Montezuma — Averaged 13.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game last season. Shot 60.2 percent from the field. 1A 3rd-team all-state.

Alex Wiese, 5-11, sr., Iowa City Regina — Averaged 15.4 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. Shot 57.9 percent from the field, 70.1 percent from the free-throw line. 2A 1st-team all-state.
