To earn respect, you must extend it to others. I refuse to respect the current occupant of the Oval Office until he expresses his respect for the following:
All immigrants, documented or not, their families, and their children;
Megyn Kelly, Leslie Stahl, and all journalist women of color;
Heather Heyer, who was murdered by one of the “very fine people” who marched for fascism in Charlottesville;
George Floyd and Black Lives Matter;
The Khan and McCain families, and all those “losers” who died in combat;
Alexander Vindmann, Marie Yovanovich, and all the professional civil servants who testified against him during his impeachment;
Kamala Harris, who he has called “nasty” and a “monster;”
Every American he has called “far left” and “radical left;”
In the end, I cannot respect that man until he stands trial for decades of tax and financial fraud, and faces a popular tribunal for his wanton incompetence, cruelty and corruption while pretending to be “president.”
