Remember our veterans this holiday season

While we cannot gather together in-person this year, the Military Mama Network Facebook group will not be stopped from fulfilling our mission to support our troops, veterans and their families, especially in moments when you wish your mama could be there.

This year, we are virtually facilitating Mission Elf to help military families. Strangers across the state have come together in our Facebook group to be matched with military families in need with those wanting to donate food, clothing, and toys.

Though the pandemic has prevented us from meeting in person, we’ve built a community through our Facebook group that has created friendships and grown our impact. Members of the military and their families do a great service to our country. They defend our freedoms with little reward and don’t have for anything back. It’s important we show our care and respect for them because their families sacrifice as much as the soldier.

While we can’t come together in-person this year, military members and their families are still depending on a holiday season to celebrate. Whether it’s through the Military Mama Network Facebook group or otherwise, please find a way to give back to those who have given so much.
