Hiawatha-based Communications Engineering Company on Thursday announced its acquisition of Select Sound Service, a Milwaukee-based hospital and education technology supplier.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
CEC, a technology systems integrator for fields including health care, fire and security, said in a Thursday news release that Select Sound's portfolio and company vision is 'tightly aligned” with its own.
Both companies are authorized resellers of Rauland critical communications products, including its Responder nurse call system.
The acquisition represents a strategic investment that will enable CEC to offer clients in Iowa and southern Wisconsin a broader range of technology solutions and 'enhanced customer service experiences,” the release said.
'Together, our force has increased in size and quality, as well as in the technology tools we leverage in achieving our customers' business objectives” said Matt Dlouhy, CEC's chief executive.
