RALLYING FOR RENEWABLES

Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey will make three stops in Northeast Iowa Jan. 21 to highlight the importance of Iowa's renewable fuels industry. He will encourage Iowans to ask the EPA to reverse a proposal that would lower the amount of biofuels that must be blended in the nation's fuel supply.
He will make stops at: 10:30 a.m., Pipac Center, Cedar Falls; noon, Jim Lind Service Station, Waterloo; 2:30 p.m., Western Dubuque Biodiesel, Farley.
Later that day he will speak at the Maquoketa State Bank annual dinner in Maquoketa.
