GUN BILL
N/A
Jan. 15, 2014 9:39 am
Several House Republicans filed a bill that would lower the age a minor could possess a pistol, revolver or ammunition while under adult supervision by a parent, guardian or spouse 21-years or older. House File 2012 seeks to lower the age to 12-years-old. Current law allows minors between the ages of 14 and 20 to possess a pistol, revolver, or ammunition with parental or a guardian's supervision. The consequences for violating the law is a serious misdemeanor or a class D felony for two or more offenses.
