FIRST $100,000 LOTTERY PRIZE GOES TO MINNESOTA

Mar. 17, 2014 6:49 pm
The new joint Iowa and Minnesota lotto game – All or Nothing – has seen its first $100,000 top prize win. Lottery officials say a winning ticket in Sunday evening's drawing was sold in Wright County, Minnesota, matched no numbers to win the first top prize in the new game, which debuted Jan. 28. The game's concept allows players to win the top prize of $100,000 by matching all of the winning numbers in one of its drawings or none of them. Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich said the anticipation had been building to see which state would hit the game's first top prize win. “It looks like Minnesota wins this round,” Rich said.
