CONDITION OF THE STATE

Gov. Terry Branstad's Condition of the State Address will be presented to the Iowa Legislature on Tuesday, January 14 at 10 a.m. and Iowa Public Television will provide live coverage of the speech on IPTV WORLD. From the state capitol, Dean Borg, host of IPTV's Iowa Press, will anchor the broadcast. Immediately following the governor's address, Borg will interview Senate Majority Leader Mike Gronstal, D-Council Bluffs, for a Democratic response.

The program will be rebroadcast Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. on IPTV. During the evening rebroadcast, reporters Kay Henderson, news director for Radio Iowa; Kathie Obradovich, political columnist for The Des Moines Register; and James Lynch, political writer for The Gazette, will analyze the Governor's priorities and preview the 2014 Iowa legislative session.
