The Grand Rapids Lip Dub: If this is what the death of a city looks like, more towns should pull the plug.

When MainStreet.com declared Grand Rapids, Mich. a "dying city," event planner and Grand Rapidian Rob Bliss rounded up a few thousand dollars and a few thousand people to shoot this 9-minute, continuous shot tour through downtown.

A few days after it launched, the video is everywhere (I learned about it from several friends on Facebook), and Main Street is eating crow.
It's not only a fun watch and a ton of cheap publicity, it's a lesson to all you other midsized Midwestern cities: Times are tough, sure, but the fight ain't over until you say it is.
